Composition::
Ivermectin 1,0% w/v.
Pharmacological properties:
Ivermectin is a 22,23-dihydro derivative of avermectin (fermentation product produced by Streptomyces avermitilis) and composed of two homologues: B1a and B1b. It is a highly effective antiparasitic, with nematocidal, insecticidal and acaricidal activity,
documented in a wide range of domestic animals. Avermectins act by stimulating the transport of chloride ions by GABA, causing irreversible neuromuscular blockade in nematodes, followed by paralysis and death.
Indications and target species:
Beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle: Treatment and control of internal parasites and
External: Gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, slimes, mites and lice.
Pigs: Treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, lice and
scabies mites.

Contraindications:
• Dairy cows during gestation or in the dry period, when the milk is intended for consumption.

• Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
• Do not administer to dogs or cats, as severe adverse reactions may occur.
• Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active principle.
Side effects:
• Transient discomfort.
• Soft tissue swelling at the injection site.
Route of administration:
Bovine: Subcutaneous route.
Pigs: Subcutaneous route in the neck.
Posology:
Cattle: 1 ml per 50 kg of live weight (200 mg of ivermectin per kg bw).
Pigs: 1 ml per 33 kg of live weight (300 mg of ivermectin per kg bw).
Wait time:
Meat:
– Cattle: 42 days.
– Pigs: 18 days.
• Do not administer to cows whose milk is intended for human consumption.
• Do not administer to cows in the dry period including pregnant heifers within 60
days before delivery.
noromectin Conservation mode:
Protect from direct sunlight and store at temperatures below 30°C.
